We have known Igho Tabor for just over a year. We were first introduced in 2008 when we took advantage of the "Architect In The House" scheme organised by RIBA (Royal Institute of British Architects) and Shelter.

We wanted a local architect to design and supervise the building of a new garden room at the back of our house. Igho worked as our architect and building manager on this project. We were so pleased with the outcome of the garden room, that we have now employed her to design and supervise the building of our new studion room, wet roomand garage replacement complex, which is currently in progress.

We would like to recommend her for the following reasons

Igho is very cheerful to work with.
Her style is to work in partnership with us and not for us. She is happy to listen to our ideas and suggestions and take them on board.
She actively promotes thorough checking of all her plans in detail to ensure issues are kept to a minimum.
Having her as the architect and building manager takes alot of stress out of the project because if there are any problems we go straight to her.
She visits the site regularly to check progress, and she is happy to visit at short notice when issues occur.
She is particularly good at responding to and communicating by email.
Building materials are delivered to the site as required by the work schedule.
She ensures all building works inspections are carried out as required, giving us peace of mind.
She ensures her building team keep the site safe and tidy, which is particularly important as we are living on site whilst the work is being carried out.
We are pleased that Igho is very environmentally aware and actively recycles materials where possible.
